Harry Physical Therapy and Wellness
While working as a physiotherapist, Dr. Fitzherbert Harry noticed that the patients who most needed care had the greatest difficulty getting to the clinic. In 2017, he was inspired to start Harry Physical Therapy and Wellness, a mobile practice to treat patients at home. “Seniors in our community have a hard time getting driving or getting a ride to physical therapy.”
It’s more comfortable for clients to be treated at home,” Dr. Harry said. “Our goal is to make clients stronger, and we can set realistic goals based on their environment.” Dr. Harry and his team of physical & occupational therapists work to decrease falls, improve independence, and improve function of movement disorders such as Parkinson’s or multiple sclerosis, while improving balance and functional mobility for the activities of daily life. “I have a special place in my heart for older adults because they have paved the way for future generations.”
PPD Research
PPD is a clinical research facility in downtown Orlando that specializes in neurodegenerative research; namely Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
